What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Social Worker position at Connecticut Behavioral Health?
Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW) Position:
Connecticut Behavioral Health is expanding and currently has the need for licensed or provisionally licensed clinicians in both school and outpatient offices in Cheshire. We receive a stead stream of referrals and can accommodate full or part time positions.
The position allows one to see patients in a school during morning and daytime hours, greatly benefiting the clinician with having a more balanced clinical schedule, especially with seeing children and adolescent.
Position Responsibilities: LCSW/LMSWs will conduct child, adolescent, adult, and family therapy. Applicants should have ample experience treating a wide variety of child and adolescent issues as you'll be working within a school setting and the practice's client population is predominantly children and adolescents. Experience treating Disruptive Behavior Disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, and substance use is desired. Positions also provide opportunities for school consultation and working with a school refusal population.
Supervision toward licensure for the LCSW will be provided.
