Position Overview
The Packaging Lead/Manager is responsible for managing the packaging operations for our cannabis products, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high-quality efficiency standards. The Packaging Lead/Manager packages and prepares all products for distribution by performing all packaging and compliance duties meticulously. This role may open and/or close the shifts and assist with staff training.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the packaging operations to ensure timely completion and delivery of finished products.
- Oversee the packaging team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement packaging processes and procedures, continuously improving efficiencies.
- Maintain high-quality standards during shifts, including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced.
- Collaborate with other departments, including production, sales, and compliance, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all packaging equipment and tools are properly cleaned, maintained, and calibrated.
- Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including batch records and production reports.
- Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming packaging regulations and adjust operations accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, including food safety, when applicable.
- Ad-hoc responsibilities as reasonably required.
Working Conditions
- This is a hands-on, manufacturing position working in an indoor production environment with the possibility of contact with food ingredients, chocolate, candy, water, solvents, etc.
- Baking, cannabis, or other ingredients may be present on surfaces and in the air.

Qualifications
- Must be able to prove eligibility to work in the US.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, food production, packaging, or management role, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Experience with inventory management and production planning.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and all other relevant pre-employment steps.
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 .
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required.
- Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, and standing are also required.
