What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Connecticut Foot Care Centers?
We are seeking a full-time medical assistant working directly with patients in our Glastonburyl and Middletown offices. You will be required to travel to both of these offices weekly, so reliable transportation is required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Obtaining patient's medical information, preparing treatment rooms for patient care and minor surgeries, booking surgical procedures, assisting the physician in the treatment rooms, taking foot/ankle x-rays (we will train you), and backing up the front desk receptionist on phones/office work.
Our practice has 6 offices located in: Newington, Rocky Hill, Middletown, Bristol, Glastonbury, and Kensington, you will be expected to cover in these offices if necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
