The Connecticut Green Bank ("Green Bank") is seeking an Investment Analyst to support its expanding Investments team, with a focus on advancing efforts to deploy solar energy and battery storage solutions.

The Green Bank's Investments team focuses on leveraging our public sources of capital with private capital. The team is dedicated to originating, structuring and closing transactions across different sectors and technologies that support and impact the climate, clean energy, and environmental infrastructure goals of the State of Connecticut. The team includes investment professionals dedicated to business and product development, underwriting, project management, sector-specific origination for debt and equity financing, diligence, raising capital, and asset management. Such sectors include commercial and industrial / small-to-medium enterprises, nonprofit, single-family residential and multifamily housing, as well as local and state governments. The Investments team considers a wide array of commercially demonstrated technologies, primarily solar, battery storage, equipment associated with energy efficiency retrofits, small hydropower, anaerobic digesters, fuel cells, on-shore wind, as well as clean energy mobility.
The Green Bank's Investments team facilitates clean energy and environmental infrastructure deployment. It specifically supports solar and battery storage deployment through the following programs :
- Solar Storage Power Purchase Agreements ("PPA") and Site Lease Products : These offerings are designed for local installers serving commercial and industrial businesses, small-to-medium enterprises, nonprofits, municipalities, and multifamily housing.
- The Marketplace Assistance Program ("Solar MAP") : This program aims to strengthen Connecticut's communities by helping underserved municipalities, state agencies, and multifamily affordable housing partners access clean energy and achieve energy savings through solar and battery storage projects.
Capital Solutions Program : Through this initiative, the Green Bank provides debt financing to third-party owners of solar portfolios.
The Investment Analyst will play a vital role in advancing the Investments team's efforts, contributing to solar and storage deployment programs as well as initiatives in other clean energy and environmental infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include assisting with pricing, underwriting, documentation, and disbursement processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING :
A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field, and some relevant professional experience through an internship or full-time employment are required.
The Green Bank will determine if this position will be filled at the Analyst or Senior Analyst level based on the experience and qualifications of the individual selected. Prospective applicants who meet most, but not all, selection criteria are encouraged to apply for the position.
