ReferWell is a leading health tech company based in Stamford, CT, focused on transforming patient referral management and healthcare connectivity. Our mission is to enhance healthcare outcomes through innovative technology solutions that improve the efficiency and accessibility of care for both patients and healthcare providers.

This is a hybrid position at the ReferWell HQ in Stamford, CT. We expect employees onsite twice a week.

Full Stack Engineer:

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop scalable, high-performance applications that improve healthcare experiences. You'll work across both frontend and backend, leveraging cloud technologies like AWS to deliver integrated solutions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, microservices, and AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces and integrate backend services via APIs.
• Manage cloud infrastructure with Docker and Terraform for scalability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system performance and reliability issues.
• Implement best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration across the tech stack.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in full-stack development with expertise in React, Node.js, JavaScript (ES6 ), and Python.
• Strong backend experience with microservices, AWS, Docker, Terraform, and API integration.
• Proficient in frontend technologies, including CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Volume) and responsive design.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and modern tooling (Webpack, Babel).
• Familiar with performance optimization, automated testing (Jest, Cypress), and cloud-based architecture.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in healthcare tech or knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Redux, and message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka).

Compensation

The base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000 - $200,000 bonus equity benefits.
