Greater Norwalk Head Start / Early Head Start a program of the Connectiuct Institute For Communities, Inc. seeks full-time Mental Health and Disabilities Services Professional. Position is responsible for assuring that programs meet 100% of the related Federal Performance Standards, including services to children with mental health concerns and behavior issues and their families, development and monitoring of children’s IEP or IFSP progress, working closely with Management team and Teaching staff, and Parent Education as a whole or on a case-by-case basis working with special needs children. This position includes leading the annual developmental screenings such as the ASQ.
Requirements:Minimum qualifications: BA in related field, and at least 1 year relevant work experience, or equivalents (MA in Counseling strongly preferred), Bi-lingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
