```Job Overview```
With the continued growth of Connecticut Rush and more specifically South Central Rush, we have ongoing opportunities for experienced and enthusiastic coaches to join our ambitious team.
It is our aim to be the most forward thinking and innovative development center in the region, we are seeking highly motivated and experienced Head Coach's to join us on our journey.
Roles include
- Head Coach within South Central Rush town partnerships
- Head Coach at South Central Rush supplementary programs, including camps & clinics
- Head Coach with South Central Rush program based at the CT Sportsplex.
```Duties```
- Head Coach of South Central Rush
- Develop and implement training program to maximize team & individual growth
- Provide instruction and guidance to athletes on proper techniques, strategies, and rules
- Plan and organize practices, competitions, and tournaments.
- Evaluate the performance of athletes and provide feedback for improvement.
- Manage team dynamics and promote a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Collaborate with DOC, TD & Assistant coaches to ensure effective training sessions.
- Monitor the progress of athletes and adjust training programs accordingly.
- Ensure the safety of athletes during practices and competitions.
- Coordinate with parents/guardians regarding schedules, events, and athlete progress.
```Requirements```
- Previous coaching experience is essential. Preferable coaching with youth soccer and competitive environment's.
- D License, but not essential
- Strong knowledge of the specific sport(s) being coached.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback to athletes.
- Experience working with students or children in a coaching or teaching capacity.
- Ability to manage behavior and maintain discipline among athletes.
- Knowledge of pedagogy and learning theory principles and techniques.
