Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of technical drawings, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment to produce high-quality components. (Notably Fanuc Machines)
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Create your own tool list
- Operate completely independently and with your own team of operators
Experience
- Prior experience operating CNC machinery is a must.
- Familiarity with CAD software for reading and interpreting designs is advantageous.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges is essential.
- A strong background in fabrication processes and assembly line operations will be considered an asset.
