Position Summary:
The Education Technology Specialist provides supporting teaching and learning opportunities for the College’s faculty and students. The Education Technology Specialist’s main function is to provide LMS support for faculty and students.
Example of Job Duties:
Under the direction of the Director of Education Technology or other manager or administrator,theEducation Technology Specialistis accountable is responsible for effective performance in these essential duties:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degreein in Instructional Technology or other appropriately related field together with one (1) or more years of related experience; or a combination of education, training and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position’s essential duties.
Incumbents are required to have demonstrated advanced knowledge and abilities in the following:
Preferred Qualifications:
$39.44 hourly

Incumbents are required to have demonstrated advanced knowledge and abilities in the following:
- Application of computers and internet to transmission of instruction, including information technology literacy skills
- Familiarity with training methodology
- Familiarity with course management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience withBlackboard Ultra
- Familiarity with Teams or Web Ex
