Job Summary:
Support PROS’ clients’ recovery via the provision of personalized, community-based employment support services.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field.
Other Requirements & Skills:
- Must have valid driver’s license, insurability, and reliable transportation.
- Must pass all relevant background checks including: Motor Vehicle check, NYS Central Register Check, NYS Staff Exclusion Check, Local, State and Federal Criminal Background checks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of Trauma Informed Care – ability to operate within an empathic, person-centered framework.
- Ability and motivation to work independently and without direct supervision as well as in a team and with the general public.
- Openness to learning new skills and technology as necessary; must participate in training as required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting PROS participants in exploring vocational interests via individual therapy, group therapy and career assessments.
- Assisting PROS participants in obtaining competitive employment.
- Provision of on-going rehabilitative support services off-site. Services will be provided in a variety of settings including the place of employment or other community-based settings.
- Provision of ongoing counseling, mentoring and advocacy services to assist employed program participants in maintaining employment.
- Development of job opportunities for PROS participants via outreach and engagement with local businesses and industry representatives.
- Treatment planning and maintenance of documentation per Department of Community Services policies and procedures.
- Compliance with regulations and standards of care for creating a safe environment.
- Must be enthusiastic about promoting the mission of CCA and PROS, be willing to work towards the good of the entire agency, and to act as an ambassador of CCA/PROS throughout the community.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
