Associate or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Job DescriptionConnecting Couples Marriage and Family Therapy is a private practice professional corporation comprised of licensed and pre-licensed therapists in Windsor and Sonoma County at large. We strive to support our communitys mental health and well-being by using effective treatment modalities, seeking consultation where needed, and by staying abreast of best practices. AMFT / LMFT will provide individual and couple therapy to patients of CCMFTP, both in the Windsor,CA office in Sonoma County, and utilizing Telehealth remotely to clients within the state of California. Clinical therapy services include treatment of adults, teens, couples and families with an emphasis in couples therapy. Treatment will include diagnosis, planning, scheduling, online notes and documentation, as well as effective collaboration with other members of treatment team.Excellent hourly pay and eligibility for raises based on length of employment, advanced training, and acquiring licensure. Excellent source of referrals and experience in building a private practice. Supervision and office space available at no cost as needed. Looking to hire immediately.Reports to : President and Clinical Supervisor Chaela D Stewart, LMFT98110 Minimum Qualification Requirements :  Masters Degree in counseling; and active Associate Registration (AMFT) or Licensure (LMFT) in the State of California. Available to hold 15-20 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred / scheduled by Connecting Couples Therapy. Other Qualification Preferences : Desire to be supervised in the focus of couples and relationship therapy and pursue advanced training in the couples therapy field post-masters degree. Preferable if Associate / Therapist has already completed advanced training in the fields of couples therapy, EMDR, IFS, attachment, or trauma informed therapy. Hours :  Work hours and schedule may vary depending on patient and practice needs. Hours may include some nights and / or weekends. Therapist is not guaranteed a minimum number of patients or sessions per week, but must be willing to hold 15-20 clients per week if available. Patient sessions are held in the offices of CCMFTPC typically, however they will be offered remote for clients unwilling or unable to travel to the office, or in the case that office space is not currently available for a clients scheduling needs.Job Duties and Responsibilities : Perform clinical counseling services to patients of CCMFTPC, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.  Be properly registered with the state and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for CCMFTPC. Respond in a timely fashion to patients requests for service or calls within 24 hours, excepting weekends, whether such requests are made by email, text, phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Connecting Couples Therapy website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.  Communicate with a patients treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) and supervisor as necessary. Attend mandatory weekly supervision meetings if prelicensed, and any additional trainings as requested by Chaela Stewart. Timely completion of written records for each patient including, but not limited to : intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Connecting Couples Therapy or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by end of Friday or end of month at latest). Keep patient files accurate and up to date and filed appropriately. Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by CCMFTPC. Be technically savvy and capable of navigating telehealth and online record keeping and communication. Maintain schedule and update quickly when changes are made. Conduct counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good reputation of the practice. This includes maintaining a professional appearance and attire (business casual or business dress) and well-groomed and consistent hygiene, as well as holding a professional level of any personal disclosure with clients. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.If interested in applying, please contact Chaela Stewart, LMFT98110www.ConnectingCouplesTherapy.comChaela@ConnectingCouplesTherapy707-955-5638
