Description

As the Connection Coordinate, you are an integral member of the Connections team. The Connection Coordinator is responsible for serving as the administrative coordinator for the Connections team with a focus on administration of the Engagement Pathway, Next Steps, and Guest Experience.

Responsibilities

Connecting People to Jesus and Each other

As the Connections Coordinator, you have a unique opportunity to be actively present and assist in facilitiating connection through events, special initiatives, and weekend programming.

How You’ll Succeed

  • First Time Guest processing and weekend elements follow up (ordering/mailing bibles, book requests, etc.)
  • Provide administrative support including tracking data processes and queues, printing and mailing appropriate materials, scheduling, and follow up with guests and volunteers as needed.
  • Responds to, organizes, and/or delegates Connections follow up tasks, emails, etc.
  • Makes orders and purchases related to Connections environments (CP Connect, Connections Teams, First Time Gift bags, communion, weekend elements, baptism, etc.)
  • Oversee church library operations and volunteers.
  • Manage Connections calendar, events and meetings.
  • Manages the Link – room reservations, queues, forms, etc.
  • Assist with developing/design of presentations as needed
  • Manages and Organizes files
  • Review and edit written content
  • Generate reports as needed
  • Prepare for events and coordinate logistics
  • Assist with volunteer scheduling as needed.
  • Manages Team communication (Ring Central, Text in Church)
  • Support and assist Connections Director
  • Respond to emails and phone calls within 24 hours of being in the office
  • Perform related duties as assigned
  • Strive to improve personal and professional skills by looking for and participating in learning opportunities
  • Attend a weekly service to stay in tune with the direction of Connection Pointe and to continue developing spiritually


What We Are Looking For

  • High School Degree-GED and/or 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Customer Service focused
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Well organized and respect for confidentiality
  • Available to work weekend services
  • Quick thinking in a fast paced environment, while on one’s feet.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in a megachurch or large non-profit

Where You’ll Be

You will primarily be in an office environment primarily on a computer for prolonged periods of time. Physical demands mainly include, walking, climbing stairs, sitting or standing for long periods of time and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Where You’ll Go

As a team, we are going into the world daily! This position may also occasionally require some overnight travel for retreats and conferences. Overall, the travel requirement for this position is <20%.
