Connection Services has a fantastic opportunity for an IT Administrative Assistant in New York, NY. A well-established, active, and growing CPA firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide exceptional support to our IT Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the IT Director’s schedule, E-Mail, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the IT department.
- Manage the IT Director’s schedule and appointments
- Handle incoming and outgoing E-Mail
- Assist with IT budgeting and financial planning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including IT department reports, inventory, and asset management
- Provide administrative support for IT projects and initiatives including budgeting and planning
- Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and reports
- Perform other administrative tasks as required, such as ordering supplies, arranging for IT equipment and software, and providing general office support
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
