Responsibilities
· Establishes credit lines for corporate customers using Virtual Credit, pulling credit bureau information (D&B), and calling outside banking institutions and trade references.
· Determines creditworthiness of a customer by using the aforementioned tools, or by analyzing financial statements.
· Monitors appropriateness of credit line levels on an ongoing basis, reacting to any new developments (per D&B or otherwise), positive or negative. Frequency may be daily (reactive) or periodically (proactively via “Credit Review” process).
· Interacts with the sales organization by way of phone calls, email or face to face, and assisting them with the credit process.
· Uses approval/authority, experience and knowledge to assist the credit analyst in daily task (e.g., decision-making on credit lines, financial analysis and problem solving). This will also include reviewing tax exemption certificates for validation.
· Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include creating presentations, creating documents in Word to included advanced formatting, creating spreadsheets to include the use of macros.
· Working knowledge of JDE Enterprise One (E1) or equivalent ERP application Business
· Routine problem solver in situations where most problems have occurred before and solutions are familiar.
· Systematic advanced reasoning skills with ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
· Although much of the work is standardized, occasional involvement with projects or situations that result in new ideas with moderate impact is required.
· Excellent communication skills including writing and documentation, listening and speaking.
· Good understanding of tax exemption documents and knowing when it is appropriate to tax exempt an order and/or account.
· Have knowledge of Credit and Collections policies and procedures
· Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter
· Understanding Analytical understanding of financial statements, budgets, financial disclosures and the impact on risk analysis.of financial statements Other Behavioral Competencies
