Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Sr. Intune & Autopilot Architect to provide expert guidance on Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Office 365 tenant management within their End-User Computing (EUC) team. This role is critical as the client transitions the administration and management of their entire Microsoft 365 ecosystem under the EUC team.
This is a 100% remote role!
This senior-level role requires deep expertise in endpoint management, cloud-based device provisioning, and Microsoft 365 administration. The selected candidate will assess the current environment, implement best practices, conduct knowledge transfer, and mentor the internal team to ensure long-term operational success.
- Lead the design, review, and optimization of the Microsoft Intune and Autopilot setup, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support for the client’s Microsoft 365 tenant administration and device management.
- Assess the current endpoint management environment, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
- Act as a technical mentor to the internal EUC team, ensuring they gain the skills necessary to manage Intune, Autopilot, and the broader Microsoft Cloud environment.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions, develop documentation, and create training materials for the client’s team.
- Provide day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting, and advisory services to the EUC team.
- Recommend next steps and potential professional services engagements based on assessment findings.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and cloud-based endpoint management advancements to provide ongoing recommendations.
- 10 years of IT experience with a focus on Microsoft endpoint management and cloud administration.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 tenant administration.
- Strong experience with Windows device lifecycle management, security policies, compliance, and automation.
- Ability to assess, design, and implement enterprise-grade endpoint management solutions.
- Experience with mentoring and training IT teams with limited prior experience in endpoint and Microsoft 365 management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in enterprise environments with security and compliance considerations.
