Purpose Summary
Working remotely, the Middle School Summer Esports Coordinator will work temporarily with the School Service Delivery: Clubs and Activities team to support the Esports Summer Camp program. Middle School students will have the opportunity to interact and build comradery and team skills, while playin. This position will report to the Manager of Student Clubs & Activities and work directly with the Connections Esports Team Coordinator.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in Esports and working with 6-8th grade students and a passion for fostering teamwork among students. An ideal candidate will have strong technology and gaming skills including working on several online platforms at once, presenting in a virtual environment, and expertise in both Microsoft® Office programs and Google™ tools.

- Work directly with students to provide a first Esports experience, developing skills in teamwork and strategy
- Develop and deliver training and practice activities;
- Collaborate with the Esports Coordinator to plan topics for Summer Esports Camp sessions;
Required Skills, Experience, and Competencies
- Proficient in Pearson Online Classroom, Class, and Zoom
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; a solid student-focused approach;
- Professional conduct where the learning environment is maintained at all times, and with care exercised to respect the diverse views and values of all students;
- Materials and presentations must not denigrate a student on the basis of creed, culture, race, gender, or national origin; and
- Appropriate attire, language, and behavior are required.
