Connections Credit Union is looking for a full-time Member Service Representative II (Teller) with financial experience and/or strong cash handling experience for our Pocatello, ID branch. Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Member Service Representative II (Teller), you will serve as the primary contact with our members and be responsible for handling member transactions and accounts, primarily dealing in cash and checks. This position may also maintain the vault along with other responsibilities including consumer lending.
MSRs promote the credit union and its services while providing professional and friendly service to our members. This position may be expected to travel to various local branches to assist with teller operations in the event of absent employees and/or short-staffed branches. Flexibility with travel and reliable transportation is expected.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Highly proficient in cash handling, especially with multiple denominations and large amounts
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Check Scanning and vault mintenance
- Loan processing and consumer lending skills
- Cross-sell credit union services to members.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required
- Ability to demonstrate confidentiality in regards to member accounts and sensitive information
- Basic financial knowledge
- High School Graduate or GED
- Must be bondable
Experience: One year financial background and one year cash handling with consumer lending experience.
Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8:30am – 5:30pm
Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour DOE
Connections Credit Union also offers monthly, quarterly annual incentives if eligible.
