Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Echo RDCS - Our client, a bed healthcare facility located about an hour from Spartanburg, SC, and 45 minutes from Greenville, has a need for an Echo Tech to join their team.
They do an average of 8 studies a day at the hospital. Their typical exam case load daily for both hospital and outpatient ranges between 8 to 10 (some days we do less than 8 too). They use both optison and definity for contrast based on techs preferences. They do stress echoes, structural heart procedures, TEE, and some peds. They are IAC accredited.

The Cardiac Sonographer II is responsible for performing echocardiographic procedures in adherence to IAC and ASE standards. They assist physicians and the cardiovascular team with procedures such as structural heart, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography. They are able to perform advanced echocardiographic procedures including bubble and contrast studies in accordance to the appropriate clinical guidelines provided. Their clinical rotations will include both the inpatient and outpatient settings and are expected to participate in on-call services at the hospital.
EDUCATION|QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED with registry certification OR is currently enrolled in or graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program.
Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) registry certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registry certification from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or registry eligible. If not currently registered, incumbent must obtain RDCS or RCS registry within six months from date of hire.
Clinical experience or instruction in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging and experience in a non-invasive cardiovascular lab preferred.
Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and produce quality images and store and retrieve digital images as required.
