My client, a 250 bed community healthcare facility located about 45 minutes from Greenville, NC and about 50 minutes from Raleigh has a need for a Director of Medical Surgical to join their team.
The Director of Medical/Surgical is responsible for leading and managing the overall operations of the Medical/Surgical Care Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role oversees all clinical and administrative functions, including staffing, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives. The Director collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, optimize workflows, and maintain adherence to hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s preferred.
- Progressive leadership experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Current RN licensure (NC/Multistate)
