Connections Personnel is hiring for a temp-hire Administrative Assistant for our client located in Scotch Plains. Looking for a motivated individual to join a fast growing and friendly company that specializes in Line Striping and Signage.
Responsibilities :
- Accounts Payable : Organize job tickets, job costing and entering bills into QuickBooks.
- Estimating : Order, scan & copy plans and specs; prepare bid spreadsheets and bid packages; gather subcontractor / supplier quotes
- Project Management Assistance / EEO Compliance : Order material as directed; respond to requests of project owner officials and subcontractors / suppliers as requested by project managers; and prepare and organize monthly EEO reports.
- General Office Assistance : Order supplies; sort mail; run errands; general correspondence, reception, and other admin functions as needed
- Contribute positively to the customer service experience for project owners, vendors, and subcontractors
Requirements :
Prior experience working in a construction office. Filing, Phone, Accounts Receivable / Payable, payroll
Preparing Bid Documents, AA / EEO Compliance, Prevailing Wage reporting
Computer skills : Microsoft Word, Excel, Quickbooks,
Dependable, organized, support-minded individual with attention to detail, team player attitude, able to meet deadlines and can multi-task.
Bilingual helpful (Spanish)
Salary $23.00-$25.00 a hour
Full Time Position 9-5, M-F
