Connections Personnel is hiring for a temp-hire Dispatcher for our client in located Middlesex. looking for a reliable motivated individual.
Perform logistics functions that may include reviewing, preparing and routing shipments, coordinating drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to schedules or customer requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for calculating routes and times of deliveries and making the necessary adjustments for sales and customers
- Establish delivery routes which are cost effective and compliant with Federal DOT guidelines while still maintaining an acceptable level of customer service, quality and satisfaction
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to schedules
- Responding to sales questions to inform them about expected ship and delivery dates and providing answers to other questions they may have
- Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews or supervisors
- Using telephones, two-way radios or outlook email to contact employees
- Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information.

Schedule : 8am-5pm MONDAY THRU FRIDAY
Salary : $22 / hr -$24 / hr depending on experience
