Mechanical Drafter - As-Built
Position Description :
The Mechanical drafter position will assist the Lead Plant Designer with as-built projects and other duties as assigned
Duties and Responsibilities to include the following :
Managing multiple redline request.
Managing drawings within our document management system.
Completing as-built projects.
Complete field requests and assist pulling drawings for projects.
Managing multiple 3D model sets.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements and Skills :
A minimum of Three - Five years (3 to 5 yrs.) experience in plant / process piping is required.
Knowledge of P&ID symbols and terminology a must.
Associates degree or related experience.
Knowledge of a Meridian Document Management System a plus.
Knowledge and experience using Windows operating systems.
Experience with CADWorx Plant Professional modeling software a must.
Experience managing and building 3D model sets a must.
Must have good communication skills, written & verbal, work with minimal supervision, and simultaneously manage multiple projects to meet scheduled deadlines.
Strong organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to prioritize work.
Previous experience in the natural gas transmission industry is preferred.
Must be Punctual and Dependable with the ability to listen and learn.
