Your Role with The Company:
– Oversee warehouse logistics to ensure seamless operation and top-notch safety practices.
– Supervise and motivate staff, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
– Manage the tracking of all incoming and outgoing products for accurate inventory.
– Ensure timely delivery and respectful handling of all products.
– Conduct inventory counts and procure supplies as necessary; maintain an organized warehouse environment.
– Lead forklift operations and maintain equipment to ensure it’s always in optimal condition.
– Prepare and manage shipping documents and databases for accuracy and compliance.
– Train and onboard new warehouse staff, equipping them with the skills to succeed.
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse processes for an efficient fulfillment system.
– This position reports to the Production Planning Manager and will interact with many functions of the company so your success will be recognized!
Background Profile:
– 5 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
– 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
– Strong knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
– Personable and team-oriented with the ability to foster positive relationships and collaborate with colleagues.
Exceptional communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
– Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Suite, and basic data entry tools.
– Physical ability to handle lifting and prolonged standing (up to 50 lbs).
– Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
– Experience with LTL shipping and UPS Worldship is desired.
– A High School Diploma or GED (Technical or 2-year Degree preferred).
