About this role :
The Fraud Analyst is responsible for reviewing customer accounts that demonstrate potentially suspicious activity. Fraud Detection also reviews suspicious applications to verify information and protect victims from identity theft and application fraud and also takes inbound phone calls from customers and / or operational departments within CNOB to assist customers and protect the interests of the Bank.
In this role you will :
- Support the Bank's "People First" focus and rules of engagement-maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB "A Better Place to Be".
- Review accounts to determine the potential for fraudulent activity.
- Review credit applications to determine applicant and data validity.
- Handles incoming calls with professionalism.
- Places outbound calls as a source of comparison to account indicators.
- Completes audit documentation.
- Serves as a CNOB ambassador and makes sound judgment calls on behalf of the Bank.
- Works assigned tasks and projects as assigned.
