Connell Financial Group, LLC is a fast growing financial advisory firm located in Camillus, NY.
Part-time, in office, assistant to the Financial Advisor will provide administrative and clerical support to the Financial Advisor to allow the Financial Advisor to spend more time on client development and continued growth of the firm. This role involves handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing client files, responding to client inquiries, assisting with general office duties, completing paperwork and being a problem solver. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn new programs, possess strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, as well as a basic understanding of financial concepts. Responsibilities:
- Perform basic office duties, such as answering phone calls, filing paperwork, and maintaining office supplies.
- Manage client files and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve basic issues.
- Complete necessary paperwork such as account opening forms, transfer of assets forms, and other forms related to the client's accounts.
- Maintain and update client databases and spreadsheets.
- Be a problem solver.
- Assist the financial advisor with scheduling appointments and managing their calendar.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Absolutely NO drop-ins or direct phone calls for this position
- Must pass Federal background check and be fingerprinted.
- High school diploma; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of administrative/office assistant experience.
- Basic knowledge of financial concepts and willing to learn.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Must be willing to learn new programs and technology.
- Must be able to work 4 hours per day in the office.
