Connell Foley LLP is a leading law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in litigation support and be able to provide high-quality assistance to attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify relevant cases, statutes, court decisions, and other legal materials. Organize documents and coordinate document productions, including bates-stamping, redaction, duplication, and indexing.
- Prepare trial materials, including organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating trial logistics.
- Assist with court filings, including tracking the litigation calendar and creating file and courtesy copies.
- Pull relevant documents, proofread papers, and organize exhibits for motion filing.
- Communicate effectively with courts, insurance carriers, counsel, and scheduling appearances and depositions.
- Execute documents, including agreements, wills, real estate closings, and maintain a calendar of depositions and court appearance dates.
- Prepare legal documents for review and approval by attorneys.
- File correspondence and legal documents in the office filing system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) related to law or business from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training i.e. Paralegal Certificate; or equivalent combination of education and experiences.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures is essential.
