We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Parent Involvement Manager. This position requires a strong ability to build relationships with parents and families, plan engaging events, and create a welcoming environment.
About the Job
As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for supporting the Holy Child Parents' Association and Subcommittees, collaborating with Committee leads to establish agendas, and working with the treasurer to process payments and volunteer reimbursements.
You will also be responsible for promoting volunteerism within our parent community by reaching out to a wide variety of parents through personal outreach, new parent onboarding, and working closely with Class Representatives to ensure the pipeline for volunteer committees is full and current year needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics
- Collaborating with Committee leads to establish agendas
- Working with the treasurer to process payments and volunteer reimbursements
- Ensuring the pipeline of volunteers for positions is reviewed and full
- Creating materials and messaging in conjunction with the Communications Department to support the programs and events
- Memoirizing the processes to ensure continuity
- Working with internal and external contacts to execute HCPA events
- Overseeing all details the day-of events
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong outgoing personality and comfort with public speaking
- Experience with social media and digital communication platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information
- Budgeting experience
- A commitment to embrace the school's mission and values
- A strong understanding of, and respect for, Catholic faith, beliefs, and practice
- Ability to work effectively and collaborate with others including superiors, colleagues, donors, volunteers, and other individuals inside and outside of the school
- Volunteer management experience demonstrating an ability to listen and inspire others to lead
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have:
- Proficiency in Veracross, Raisers Edge, and/or OneCause
- Event budget management and vendor relations experience
- Knowledge of the specific needs and challenges of an all-girls educational environment
- Experience working in a K-12 educational setting
