Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be using our Dry Blasting technique responsible for exposing our poured in place Hardscape concrete to prepare for sealing with a xylene based seal. This candidate will be responsible for the final finish of our concrete exposure to the highest standard. The Sandblaster will work primarily in construction, ensuring high-quality results that meet our clients expectations.
Responsibilities
- Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently to prepare surfaces for finishing.
- Assess surfaces to determine the appropriate blasting technique and materials needed.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow safety protocols to protect yourself and others on the job site.
- Clean up work areas after completing tasks, ensuring all materials are disposed of properly.
- Provide recommendations for surface restoration techniques based on experience.
- Utilize basic math skills to measure areas and calculate material requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sandblasting in the concrete industry.
- Familiarity with concrete finishing is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment with various tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to restore surfaces to high standards.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
