DISHWASHER - Part-time + $500 sign-on bonus!!

General Statement of Duties :

Connestee Falls has recently renovated its 26,000 square foot clubhouse, which features a large main dining room with an excellent menu, a lounge with full bar and a sports grill. The clubhouse also offers banquet facilities with a large hall and meeting rooms that are available for private events. Our clubhouse overlooks our championship George Cobb designed golf course that winds through the mountains with beautiful vistas along the way. At Connestee Falls, we take pride in providing a year-round fine dining experience to our members, to their guests and to the general public. Our Dishwashers are key members of our kitchen staff. This position is responsible for cleaning the food delivery, storage and food preparation areas. This position helps maintain inventory of china, glassware, hollowware, silverware and cooking utensils. The dishwasher will be responsible for operating a commercial dishwashing machine and loading and emptying the machine throughout their shift. The ideal candidate must be able to understand and follow instructions, adhere to the company's cleaning standards and maintain a sanitary work environment. Essential Duties :

• Maintains and organizes dish room and dish machine.
• Operates dish machine to company and manufacturer`s specifications.
• Restocks all detergent, sanitizer and floor cleaner as needed.
• Assists with cleaning other areas or equipment of restaurant as requested.
• Sets up buffet lines as specified by the Chef or Sous Chef.
• Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and other kitchen related areas.
• Washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Removes garbage and places it in designated containers.
• Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans and re-lines with new garbage bags. Breaks down cardboard as needed.
• Polishes silverware, platters and chafing dishes using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work area.
• Loads and unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.
• Assists chefs as needed.
• Complies with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
