Company Details
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the development and oversight of the Project Management Office (PMO), managing enterprise projects from ideation, planning, prioritization, budgeting, allocation of project resources, support, and closing out of projects. This role will act as the owner of enterprise project implementations and will facilitate actions needed for the project to go-live. This role will become a supervisor of the Project Managers (as the PMO expands) and will act as a resource for the enterprise on project planning and implementation. The Senior Project Manager will develop project plans, identify resources (internal/external/budgetary), will host project meetings, will facilitate actions to complete tasks by deadlines and will coordinate with vendors and staff as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Consults on project planning and management of high-risk, high-impact projects
- Identifies risks and vulnerabilities and creates contingency plans
- Ensures integrity of original business case is maintained and any adjustments are communicated and understood by all key stakeholders
- Insures that projects are integrated with other business and related projects
- Ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Manages regular status reporting to key leaders
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 7 years of similar or related experience.
- Certification/Degree in Project Management. PMP Certified is preferred.
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job
- Self-directed and capable of leading others outside of a direct reporting relationship
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) is a must
- Works well with multiple teams/leaders
- Strong can-do attitude with high energy level that produces desired results
- Working knowledge and expertise with project management software including Microsoft Project.
- May require off hour support.
Salary : $97,358 - $121,698
