Connexa Search Group is partnering with a well-established manufacturer to recruit for a Supplier Quality Engineer. This position is responsible for leading supplier quality initiatives and ensuring compliance with internal standards. This position acts as a key link between purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and external vendors, focusing on process improvements, quality assurance, and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain supplier quality systems across the supply base
- Conduct audits of new and current suppliers to evaluate quality capabilities
- Guide suppliers through new product quality planning processes
- Support corrective actions related to supplier quality issues
- Implement improvement plans using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality tools
- Review technical drawings and specifications to align supplier expectations
- Validate production part approval submissions for new product launches
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years in supplier quality or manufacturing engineering
- Familiarity with quality frameworks such as APQP, PPAP, root cause analysis
- Experience conducting supplier and process audits
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF standards preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed
