What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Connexion Systems and Engineering, Inc.?
Material Handler
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm
- 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7:30am
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks
- Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures
- Support material handling duties
- Maintain segregation of materials and receiving numbers
- Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition
- Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication and safety rules
- Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above
- Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories and related documentation
- Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must be able to stand to package and label product.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the production line.
- Support material handling as necessary.
- Safety glasses, hair nets and gloves provided.
- Candidate must provide steel or composite shoes/boots.
- Prior manufacturing experience not required - Training will be provided!
