What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler (Soldering) position at Connexion Systems & Engineering, Inc.?
First shift - $21/ hour
Will interview and test the following skills:
- Solder
- Reading prints and/or drawings
- Wire stripping
- Measuring skills
ITAR Restricted:
Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to provide sponsorship. Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).
Essential functions:
- Build cable assembly to print, draw, and manufacture work instructions and ECN’s.
- Measure and cut wire, cable, inner and outer jackets to required length.
- Perform wire termination and crimp terminals both manually and by machine.
- Solder terminals and plugs.
- Repair rejected product.
Required skills (mandatory):
- Cable assembly experience.
- Soldering skills.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Ability to interpret detailed specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Basic math skills – Must be able to measure in inches and increments of inches.
Desired skills (not mandatory):
- IPC-610 and 620 certified through step 1
- Soldering wires and pins
- Cable build experience
