Production Control Lead/ Coordinator

Job Summary:

• Primary point of contact for Customer Service for all order inquiry/status requests.  Covers all aspects of purchasing, production, warehousing and logistics. 
• Advise on expedite requests, date pull-in requests, past due order reconciliation, over-capacity dating, non-standard customer specific requirements
• Manages all order changes and cancellations across the respective departments.
• Executes/communicates required order management tasks associated with allocation/un-allocation, work orders, purchase orders, costs incurred, inventory, etc.
• Adjust order shipdates to achieve system integrity, set appropriate shipdates for ship completes, large orders, purchasing material availability dates & changes, work order mirror, split lines, minimize partial order shipments, actuated valve & options orders, blue book partners, no stock orders, facilitate 01-01 dating, direct ships. Ensure JDE/Portal dates are the most accurate dates known. 
• Expedite orders as required across all shops and warehouse to improve OTS.  Set-up and maintain cross-docking process and operation.  Fill in for key role absences as required (allocater, gatekeeper, receiver, etc.)

Main Responsibilities:

• Investigate and advise on expedite requests
• Ship date management to ensure accuracy
• Reconcile past due orders
• Management non-standard customer specific order requirements
• Manage change orders and order cancellations
• Load management when over capacity
• Expedite orders to improve OTS. 
• Establish and manage cross-docking process 
• Fill in for key role absences as required

Education/ Experience/ Special Requirements:

• 2-5 years customer service experience
• 2-5 years warehousing/operations experience
• Associates degree or higher in operations or business-related field
