What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Associate position at Connexion?
The CX Inside Sales Associate is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, promoting products to existing and potential customers, and executing incoming material requests. This associate maintains customer relationships and ensures customer satisfaction through exceptional communication, responsiveness, and product knowledge. This associate collaborates with other departments such as purchasing, warehouse, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
In this role you will :
- Respond quickly to customer requests via phone, email, and other forms of communication.
- Keen ability to build rapport and trust with customers to maintain customer relationships.
- Build and nurture customer relationships through remarkable service.
- Offer solutions and prepare quotations for customers by identifying needs.
- Assist customer with product selection and application.
- Negotiate pricing with lighting manufacturers and customers to provide a competitive price and maximize profitability.
- Understand gaps in customer product buying habits and proactively work to close those gaps.
- Build and nurture relationship with supplier partners.
- Build and nurture relationships with all departments within CX to ensure a smooth customer experience regardless of the issue (AR, Returns, Delivery, etc.)
- Work to ensure product and application knowledge on products within scope for the role.
- Understand gaps in knowledge, whether it be product, process, software, etc., and proactively works with leadership to close these gaps.
What you bring to the table :
Shift and Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm in office
Compensation Details : The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $70,000 annually, depending on experience. This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
