What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLM Solution Architect position at Connexions?

PLM Architecture & Strategy :

Define and design end-to-end PLM architectures using PTC Windchill and Aras Innovator .
Develop a strategic roadmap for PLM implementation, enhancements, and migrations.
Evaluate current PLM landscapes, identify gaps, and recommend best practices for system improvement.
Ensure alignment of PLM strategies with business objectives, IT architecture, and compliance standards.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and PLM advancements.

Implementation & Integration :

Lead PLM solution implementation projects, including system configuration, customization, and deployment .

Oversee integration of PLM solutions with ERP, CAD, MES, and other enterprise systems .

Define and develop data migration strategies from legacy systems to Windchill and Aras.

Ensure seamless collaboration and data exchange between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

Customization & Development :

Develop and manage custom extensions, workflows, and configurations within Windchill and Aras.

Create custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.

Work closely with developers, administrators, and stakeholders to implement custom PLM functionalities.

Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues , ensuring high system availability and efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement & Support :

Collaborate with engineering, IT, manufacturing, and business teams to understand requirements and pain points.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams and junior architects.

Conduct training sessions, user onboarding, and documentation to facilitate system adoption.

Support change management initiatives to drive digital transformation in product development.

Compliance & Security :

Ensure PLM solutions adhere to industry regulations (ISO, FDA, ITAR, etc.).

Implement security policies, access controls, and data governance best practices .

Conduct regular audits and assess system vulnerabilities to enhance security posture.
