What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Representative position at ConnexPay?
In this period of rapid company expansion, we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) located in / near Dallas, Texas to support ConnexPay’s Revenue Team by generating leads and vetting marketing qualified leads (MQLs). The goal of this role is to create pipeline growth by generating and qualifying leads via emails, phone calls, and social media. The BDR will be key in building the top of the sales pipeline, nurturing existing leads to stimulate business interest, and coordinating second level meetings / calls for the Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring a sales-oriented mindset to the job every day (prospecting for new business)
- Manage all inbound marketing leads based on criteria set by Sales and Marketing and follow-up accordingly
- Work with the Marketing team to create new lead lists based on verticals and job positions
- Work a sales cycle in the areas of Lead and Prospecting as laid out in the Sales Playbook
- Support the Revenue Team in prospecting and setting up meetings during events ConnexPay is attending
- Track all activity in CRM (HubSpot)
- Be driven to exceed and achieve goals
- Support Sales, Relationship and Enablement Teams as needed
