Key Responsibilities :
Lead Comprehensive Medical Care : Oversee a shelter health program, conducting high-volume spay / neuter surgeries and other complex procedures. From preventive care to emergency interventions, youll make critical decisions that save lives.Drive Program Development : Develop and implement medical protocols that impact thousands of animals each year. Work closely with veterinary staff, train new team members, and collaborate with local institutions to advance shelter medicine.Champion Animal Welfare : Support animal cruelty investigations with expert veterinary assessments and testimony, helping to ensure justice for animal victims and improve community safety.Mentor and Guide Medical Teams : Provide leadership and mentorship to veterinary technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of compassionate care while upholding high medical standards.Expand Community Outreach : Contribute to public health initiatives, manage community clinic programs, and build partnerships that enhance access to veterinary care within the region.Skills and Certifications (required skills are bolded) :
