Research is both qualitative and quantitative in nature. Work product will include written pieces, statistical analyses and periodic reporting.

Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze municipal credits throughout the credit spectrum in multiple sectors
- Promptly respond to internal and external requests for information
- Participate in evaluating changes in the economic, legislative, and business environment, which are likely to have an impact on the investment strategy.
- Interpret market and policy developments.
- Interact with borrower representatives, other credit analysts, rating agencies and sell-side analysts
- Communicate credit recommendations to senior credit analysts, portfolio managers and traders
- Perform other duties & responsibilities as required
- Bachelor’s degree is required;
- CFA designation (or progress towards) a plus.
- Up to three years of work experience;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and recommendations.
- The ability to make value judgments based on market knowledge.
- The technical skills and computer literacy to use existing quantitative database and modeling techniques, including Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Python.
- An inquisitive nature with a drive towards excellence in all aspects of the research process.
