In this pivotal position for CGO you will be recognized as the subject matter expert in claims advocacy and serve as the primary point of contact for clients while providing expert guidance, support, and advocacy to ensure smooth and efficient resolutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape processes, lead initiatives, and pave the way for future opportunities through proactive communication that will position you as a trusted advisor with to help shape the future of Claims Advocacy at CGO with lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as the primary liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and adjusters while ensuring seamless communication are provided throughout the claims process.
Communicate with clients in a concise and confident manner that give informed explanations of coverage and claims procedures.
Advocate for clients to secure effective, fair, timely, and favorable claim settlements.
Review and analyze claims documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness along with addressing any discrepancies as needed.
Maintain detailed and organized records of all claims interactions and communications for transparency and follow-through.
Provide updates to clients on the status and progress of claims , keeping them informed at every step of the workflow.
Collaborate with internal teams to address any issues and concerns during the claims process.
Remain current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in claims management in order to consistently add innovative solutions to the role.
Participate in renewal or prospect meetings with producers to highlight the role of the Claims Advocate and the value it brings to client partnerships.

Qualifications :

5 years of proven experience and expertise in claims handling, insurance, or a related field.

In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, coverages, and claims procedures and processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build and foster strong client relationships.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations through advocacy and professionalism.

Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail documenting communications.

Proficiency in insurance management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, while also thriving as part of a collaborative team.

Bachelors Degree of equivalent years of industry specific work experience.

Current and active Property and Casualty licensure.

Exceptional Qualities :

Highly accomplished in handling complex claims with confidence and precision.

Prior experience working in an insurance or brokerage company and an ability to provide valuable industry insights to the role.

A strong analytical, task-oriented mindset , with focus on managing detailed processes efficiently in a timely manner

Proven ability to collaborate as a team player while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Sharp critical thinking skills , with a willingness to ask question and seek innovative solutions.

Advance emotional and social intelligence displaying understanding, resilience and a thoughtful demeanor when addressing all circumstances.

Compensation and Benefits :

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of $105k-$115k , with the potential for bonuses, alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both personally and professionally. Here’s what you can look forward to :
