Connsci is seeking a Sr. Cyber Compliance Analyst for a potential upcoming project for a government client. This individual will be part of a team tasked with monitoring regulated entities and will be responsible for processing filings, producing reports and assessments, and conducting briefings as well as responding to phone call and / or email inquiries. Specific duties may include :
- Monitor status of covered entities to detect possible violations in reporting regulations related to "cyber / technology" events (e.g., reports related to systems security, disruptions, and compliance)
- Receive and process cyber / technology events reported by regulated entities
- Conduct analysis of cyber / technology event reports
- Implement cyber / technology event escalation
- Provide program-level reports related to regulated entity's compliance.
- Foster strong compliance and risk management practices
- Attend meetings with government staff and other external organizations.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ensure that regulated entities adequately investigate the root-cause of real or potential anomalies in entity services
- Conduct queries and analysis of cybersecurity threat and risk indicators to assess impact.
- Triage cybersecurity events and incidents to engage appropriate stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior team members
