Job Summary This position, Director Identity Management, will develop and implement the strategic vision for Identity Management (IDM) program. Responsible for establishing & implementing a governance framework, managing and coordinating requirements, and supporting the implementation of ConocoPhillips' IDM processes and workflows, while ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external controls. Span of controls of this role would be over a global team responsible for enterprise and OT IDM apps.
Position Overview
Your responsibilities may include :
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives and security requirements
- Establishing IAM policies, procedures, and standards to govern access controls, user provisioning, and identity verification processes
- Handling the entire lifecycle of user identities, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, authentication, and access review processes
- Collaborate with Security on access control policies and implementing least privilege principles to restrict access to sensitive data and resources based on user roles, responsibilities, and business needs
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal security policies related to identity management and access control, such as ITGC, Segregation of Duties and SOX
- Building and leading a team of IAM professionals providing guidance, mentoring, and training to develop their skills and expertise in identity and access management
- Collaborating with external vendors, service providers, and partners to evaluate third-party IAM solutions and handle vendor relationships effectively
- Collaborate with Security in identifying and mitigating security risks associated with identity and access management, such as insider threats, unauthorized access, and identity theft
- Strategically aligns the IAM program with the overall business needs by driving meaningful collaboration and developing strategic financial budgets and operational plans
