Wide Format Operator II, Installer

Job Summary:

The Wide Format Operator and Installer is responsible for the efficient and accurate installation of various signage types, including wide-format prints, vehicle graphics, and large-scale banners. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency with installation tools, and the ability to interpret design specifications to ensure high-quality installations that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

• Safely and accurately install a variety of signs, including building-mounted signs, freestanding signs, and interior graphics.
• Apply wide-format prints to various surfaces, ensuring proper alignment and adhesion
• Install vehicle graphics and wraps with precision

Preparation:

• Review and interpret design blueprints and installation instructions.
• Prepare surfaces and substrates for installation, including cleaning and priming as necessary.
• Assemble sign components and ensure all materials are ready for installation.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct post-installation inspections to ensure signs are securely mounted and meet quality standards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on installed signs as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of tools and materials.
• Ensure installations comply with local regulations and building codes.

Client Interaction:

• Communicate effectively with clients to confirm installation details and timelines.
• Address client concerns and provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process.

Experience:

• Previous experience in sign installation, wide-format printing, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with various sign materials and installation techniques.

Skills:

• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in sign installation.
• Ability to read and interpret design plans and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Skilled with the various wide format presses and various systems similar to ONXY

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods

Licenses and Certifications:

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certification in sign installation or related fields is a plus.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
