What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at Conquest Healthcare Management?
Conquest Healthcare is seeking an LTC Billing Specialist for Fort Worth centralized office. Experience in Medicare and Managed care is needed. Five plus years long-term care SNF industry billing or experience in CBO setting mandatory. Must be familiar with the Medicaid payment system in SNF industry to include TexMed Connect and Simple CFS. Understanding of Mesavs and LTCMI’s is critical to the role. Work requires working knowledge of PCC, Inovalon, Availity and various Medicaid portals. Must demonstrate the ability to make collection calls to obtain claims status and work denial/appeals in a timely manner. Must be able to handle large caseload of billing and claims follow up weekly. Must be able to review aging reports weekly and rebill claims accordingly. Must demonstrate the ability to work complex accounts receivable aging reports. Must demonstrate the ability to effectively work assigned caseload of facilities to meet monthly cash collection goals. Work requires ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement new procedures Work requires ability to prioritize large volumes of work and produce daily billing requirements. Work requires good communication skills with management and facility leaders. Must be a self-starter and able to resolve billing issues with minimal oversight from management.
