This role will communicate and present to key stakeholders regarding user needs and design solutions with a passion for understanding user needs and building solutions to support them.Job DutiesCreates user journey, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mock-ups, and prototypesConduct independent research to collect and analyze user behavior through usability studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, and benchmark studiesCommunicate research findings to cross-functional teams through design solutions, written reports, and / or in-person presentationsWork with senior design peers to execute user studies to validate design conceptsProactively address self-identified skill gaps as well as those identified by peersBuild consensus by presenting design work and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholdersActively participate in improving cross-functional and Design team collaborationPerforms all other related duties as assignedSkills and RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, or similar, or equivalent experience2-5 years of experience as a user experience designer, UX researcher, or similar rolePortfolio that demonstrates experience with highly transactional / complex workflow designHas a strong understanding and engagement in the design process2 years of experience in iterative design working closely with customers, peers, developers, and product managers from inception through implementationExcellent knowledge of usability principles and techniques (information architecture systems, usability heuristics, research and requirement gathering, etc.)Strong understanding of when to use different research methods during the product development processAbility to clearly communicate design problems and workflow solutions to cross-functional teams and stakeholdersAbility to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independentlyProven ability to develop domain expertise#J-18808-Ljbffr
