Key Responsibilities:
- Lead civil engineering design and analysis for projects involving roadway design, site planning, stormwater management, utility layout, parking analysis, and grading.
- Coordinate and present project submissions to local municipalities, utilities, environmental agencies, and planning boards.
- Conduct site investigations to assess and document existing conditions.
- Oversee and review design calculations, drawings, specifications, and bid packages.
- Manage the development of project plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering services.
- Provide technical guidance during construction administration, addressing project challenges and ensuring smooth execution.
- Utilize a mix of technical expertise and project management skills on projects ranging from small-scale site restorations to large-scale infrastructure developments.
- Engage with existing clients and actively pursue new business opportunities to support regional growth.
- Prepare technical reports and fee proposals for civil engineering services.
- Represent the firm at industry and business development events.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 12 years of progressive experience in site and civil engineering.
- PE license required (New York preferred).
- Experience working with New York County and Town DPW/Highway Departments, as well as large municipalities and public agencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor engineers and drafters, providing constructive guidance.
- In-depth understanding of local zoning codes, permitting requirements, and regulations.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leadership on business development and growth strategies.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for site design and drafting.
