In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of diverse structural engineering projects. From large-scale commercial buildings to complex industrial facilities, you’ll ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with a close-knit, dynamic team, manage client relationships, and provide technical leadership throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management and delivery of structural engineering projects, including design, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Perform structural analysis and design for various building types, including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
- Oversee and coordinate the preparation of plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping grow the team’s technical skills and capabilities.
- Monitor project financials, including billing, profitability, and performance metrics.
- Stay current on industry codes, standards, and emerging trends to deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- PE license required; SE license a plus.
- Minimum 6 years of structural engineering and project management experience.
- Expertise in structural design software and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
