Are you a seasoned Civil/Structural Engineer with a passion for transportation systems and a drive to lead and mentor? We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Transportation Engineering Practice Leader to spearhead the growth and coordination of transportation engineering services across the greater NY metropolitan area.
In this role, you’ll oversee a diverse range of projects—from bridge and highway designs to rail and waterfront structures. You’ll lead a talented team in performing condition assessments, load ratings, and designing repairs or new construction for critical infrastructure. With your leadership, we’ll deliver top-notch solutions that shape the future of transportation.
As a key player, you’ll mentor engineering and CAD/BIM staff, foster professional growth, and maintain high-quality design and drafting standards. You’ll also engage in business development, prepare technical and cost proposals, and build lasting relationships with local agencies and state-level clients.
Your project management expertise will ensure seamless coordination of staffing, financial performance, and project delivery. With your technical prowess and leadership skills, you’ll help us execute projects ranging from small rehabilitations to large-scale new construction—all while meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
What You’ll Bring:
- 15 years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience.
- NJ or NY PE license is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Proven leadership and mentorship skills.
- Knowledge of transportation codes and structural analysis software.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and presentation abilities.
