Responsibilities
- Performs assembly through components inserted in printed circuit board assemblies and sub-assemblies and various light mechanical hardware
- Works with small tools, engineering documents and visual aids
- Identifies non-reworkable issues to the supervisor and routing of non-conforming material to the supervisor
Preform
- Cut parts to proper length as required
- Bend parts to proper angles as required
- Bond cores to boards as required
- Place cores onto magnetic as required
P-Line
- Place all thru hole parts onto PC Boards using proper paperwork and tooling
Pre-Pot
- Place tested units into cases and apply proper covers and insulators per drawings
- Glue parts to boards as required
- Spray conformal coating on units as required
Encapsulation
- Apply encapsulation material to units as required
- Maintain and clean machinery in the encapsulation room
- Clean units after encapsulation has set for prescribed period of time
- Label units after cleaning
