What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Education Aide position at Conroe Independent School District?
To assist in working with groups of students in physical education and perform duties to facilitate that program.
- Assist physical education teacher in helping children master objectives.
- Support and carry out activities related to the program.
- Executive duties involving supervision of children.
- Communicate with students, teachers and parents.
- Other duties as assigned by physical education teacher and principal.
- Assist in supervision of students riding late buses.
- Regular assistance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous work with children in job-related capacity or volunteer work
Education/Certification:
- High School diploma
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate (must obtain within 30 days of employment)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Appreciation of and patience with children
- Ability to work well with others

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Flexible

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environment Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional district travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
